The Zip-Cover Booth is the simplest answer to a question every restaurant faces after a few years: the frame is fine, but the fabric is worn, stained or simply out of date. Here both the back and the seat are loose cushions, held to the frame with brass press studs. Each cushion cover closes with a concealed zip running along a hidden edge, finished with a flat brass pull.
To re-cover, unclip the cushion, unzip the cover and fit a new one. No staples to pull, no frame to strip, no upholsterer on site. A spare set of covers can be kept for a mid-life refresh, or a seasonal colour change, while the cushions, foam and frame stay in service.
The example shown pairs an oatmeal back with a charcoal seat to make the point that each part is independent. Covers are cut and sewn to the cushion pattern recorded on your parts list, so replacements fit years later. The frame is a hardwood and plywood seat box on a recessed plinth, with foam to your market's fire rules.
